The Asian Marketing Conference (AMC), organized by the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA), will hold the year’s biggest international marketing event on July 19-20, 2012 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. Entitled Asiannovation2: Unleash the Asian Marketing Masters,” the event will gather some of the best marketing minds from around the globe.

Donald Patrick Lim, Overall Chairperson of this year’s Asian Marketing Conference and Managing Director of MRM Manila, says that local marketing practitioners can expect to learn the latest global marketing insights and trends from Asiannovation 2. “It is also a good follow up to the recently-held ADB Board of Governors’ 45th Annual Meeting in terms of boosting the country’s image as successful organizers of global events,” he adds.


According to Lim, the conference’s keynote speaker is Indonesia’s Hermawan Kartajaya, President of the World Marketing Federation and founder of the Asian Marketing Federation. Kartajaya, who leads Asia-based management consultancy firm MarkPlus&Co., is renowned in the marketing world for his brilliant strategic business concepts. He is also the co-author of international marketing guru Philip Kotler, from the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University in Illinois, USA, for a number of books including “Marketing 3.0” and “Rethinking Marketing: Sustainable Marketing Enterprise in Asia.”

Aside from Kartajaya, confirmed speakers for Asiannovation 2 include Takuya Goto, President of the Asia Marketing Federation and President of the Japan Marketing Association; Greg Armshaw, Chief Technology Catalyst of McCann Worldgroup Singapore; Michael Robinson, SEA Managing Director of Momentum Asia in Singapore; Serene Wong, Chief Executive Officer, TNS Global (China); Eddie Lee, Managing Partner, iPay88 (Malaysia); Prof. Hooi Den Huan, Director of the Nanyang Technopreneurship Center, NTU in Singapore; Tilan Wijeyesekera, Deputy General Manager of Seylan Bank in Sri Lanka; Ashok Patro, Co-Founder of Thoughtbuzz in Singapore; Khin Ng, Founder and Director of Strategy of Tangible in Singapore; and Jaideep Kibe, Marketing Director of The Coca Cola Company Philippines.
