The NEW Magic Begins as Enchanted Kingdom celebrates its 17th anniversary with a BANG! The country’s first and only world-class theme park launches the 3rd Asian Sky Wizardry Fireworks Competition with another round of colorful and artistic pyro exhibition this September! More play of lights and music in the sky and more pyro competitors, both local and foreign competitors this year! Expect pyro contenders from Malaysia, China, Korea, Singapore and the Philippines to light up the sky with a spectacular display of fireworks.

Elimination nights for local competitors will start on September 29 and 30, October 6 and 7, and October 13 and 14 at 7:17pm at the Spaceport stage area of Enchanted Kingdom. The over-all winner will represent the Philippines during the breathtaking finals night on October 20 at 7pm at the Enchanting Events Place of Enchanted Kingdom.

First Laguna Blogging Summit on September 27-28, 2012





The 1st and the biggest Laguna Blogging Summit (#1LaBS) will be on September 27-28, 2012 at the Provincial Cultural Center at Santa Cruz, Laguna from 8:00am to 5:00pm and supported by the Laguna Provincial Government under Governor Jeorge "ER" Ejercito, Commission on Election (COMELEC), ALAM (Alab ng mamamahayag) and Philippine Information Agency 4-A(PIA) with Kliping Times, Creative Voices, Phil IT and When In Manila as media partners.

2. Charles P. "CARLOS" CELDRAN (born November 10, 1972) is a Manila tour guide, cultural activist, and performing artist. Growing up in Dasmariñas Village, Makati, Philippines, he began his art career at age 14 as a cartoonist for a local Manila newspaper, enrolling at the Rhode Island School of Design in 1991, where he began working in performance art. After university, he moved to New York City, where he lived an openly bisexual lifestyle. It was there that he first witnessed the effect of HIV on the queer community, which eventually led to his reproductive health activism in the Philippines. He continued his career in the performing arts, interning as a production assistant with the Blue Man Group and later working for other performing arts groups as a set designer and/or director. By 2000, Celdran was working as an assistant directors of the Heritage Conservation Society, a non-profit organization working towards preserving historical architecture. There he gained experience in directing historical tours, which set the stage for the launch of his own tour company "Walk This Way" in 2002. In 2005 he became the owner/director of an art exhibition space called The Living Room.

3. ELIZABETH ANGSIOCO 
is an advocate, feminist, activist, heritage conservation enthusiast, writer, restaurateur, unschooled interior designer, mother, and grandmother rolled into one. Beth heads the Democratic Socialist Women of the Philippines (DSWP) and holds leadership positions in other NGOs.

Laguna is a province of the Philippines found in the CALABARZON region in Luzon.
